Born and raised in Appleton, WI. The youngest of seven children; an avid reader and writer. Began to sing, became involved in theatre... Sang throughout Europe and Canada while still in high school. Enrolled in college level classes and theatrical productions. Graduated at 17. Stold a car on my 18th birthday to get to LA. (arrested at gun point on Valentine's Day - did not do time). Made appearances in movies and television (if you can find me in the movie "Back to School" I will send you ten dollars!) But... I was totally poor and forced back to WI via Greyhound bus. |

Back in a band. Attending college for journalism and advertising while hosting a college music video program for cable. |

Joined a band called "Mistress" which traveled through the midwest, receiving some nice attention. I became a road warrior. |

Took off to MN, where I could write my own music and not be pushed into doing covers. Prince and I are now good friends... Ok I'm totally lying! |

When things change, I change - right down to the hair on my head. St. Paul/Minn gave me new life and room to grow while I wrote and sang for a talented band called "Tapestry." I also placed and promoted other midwest musicians at this time. |
